Environmentally Conscious Lighting

Advancement in the technology of LED lighting has increased their light output. While using a fraction of the energy needed for incandescent lamps, LEDs have flexibility in design and functionality that old style lighting can never match.

LEDs also have an extremely long life span when compared to other light sources – in many cases they last 20 times longer.

LEDs do not emit harmful UV rays, so they don’t promote algae growth in damp enclosed environments and are helpful when protecting valuable photos, artwork and artifacts from deterioration.

As the world moves to a “greener” mindset, it is exciting to have new technology and artistic options while leaving a smaller carbon footprint.
